I hadn’t noticed the particulars of the eyes in the last two panels in the RSS feed; I like how you’ve distinguished male/female here in contrast to how much is the same (purposefully) in the rest of page.

it was a bit sketchy,but i think that i have said that about every “end of year/new year” chapter you did.
i think you still need to work on your digital art skills,if you don’t mind me saying.
but,you’ll just gradually improve at it like you did with the pencil,i think.
still,this isn’t as well drawn as it could have been…
no offense,but “Wonderland” was way better(color aside.),and so was “New beginnings”.
all’n all your style of drawing is a bit inconsistent at the moment.
it seems your still experimenting,right ?.

one thing though did stand out,the dialog !

it was touching without being corny,and realistic,but not too much,so as not to be dull.

Alls I know is, she didn’t scream-cry into her pillow like one vampire loving girl when faced with rejection. But I guess that just goes to show who’s a strong character and who isn’t. Ha.

As much as I love and relate to Lucy, I have to say she definitely brought this upon herself. There was ample opportunity to open up to Mike before, but she squandered that in fear of rejection. But hindsight is always 20/20, so I suppose it is a moot point.

Though it makes you wonder if Lucy ever really had a chance with Mike? I mean, Mike did once have feelings for Lucy, but to what extent were those feelings just a placeholder for what he had with Sandy? Who’s to say that when Sandy got back in touch, Mike wouldn’t have rejected Lucy anyways?

But then, who’s to say that Mike and Sandy might not work out? But even if that WERE that case, I don’t see Lucy falling so low as to forgive Mike for what he does.

Ah God this is humorous in a totally heart wrenching way.

Hate to break it, but without some major personality changes Lucy x Mike won’t work. Lucy is trying, but she still has the horrible habit of fighting, competing, and _hitting_ Mike to the point it’s a reflex. As best friends that can still work out, but it would turn marriage into a living hell if the problem doesn’t go away completely BEFORE getting married/together/[insert term that implies dedicated lifelong commitment here].
