Veronica: Hey, even more setting change! We’re progressing through the day, getting introduced to more familiar faces.

One thing I noticed in my High School was that teachers would repeat.. which is why three of the previous teachers have returned. It’s not ALL about being too lazy to design entirely different teachers! Why waste an already perfectly-designed adult?

Anyway, Mike, you’re such a nerd. And a showoff!!!!

Huh. I just noticed: Mike is now the irritable, bitchy one, and Lucy is the quiet one who just wants to be understood. It’s like they swapped personality types since the beginning of the comic!

Mike is a showoff, running like that backwards. It’s not even like he has to slow down to turn around, or stop completely. He just skips, spins lightly in the air, then…I’m impressed.
