Author Commentary

It’s kind of hard to write commentary when you want the comic to speak for itself. I’m not sure if people got the point of this chapter but I hope it sets something up in a way that’s not overt and horrible. If you know these characters well enough, you’ll understand what’s going on here.

I love the colouring on this page. I even love the last panel, which Veronica got bothered with after I pointed out the arty way she drew Lucy tiny and alone in the background of the final panel even though it was totally out of perspective with what you’d see out of the bus window. Apparently that’s something she wanted to fix, but I think it works to good effect for a number of reasons.

Anyway, this is the last of me in this section for a while. The next chapter is written by Veronica, (as are most BCB chapters, for those who get confused with these things.) I’ll hopefully be back to post a news post with our updated Store on Monday. Check back next week for that, and the beginning of the Daisy Pregnancy Arc! — SuitCase
