Augustus: Look.
*Augustus smirks, gritting his teeth.*
Augustus: Why don’t you just go find whichever boyfriend of the week it is and see if he’ll take you to dinner?
*Lucy glares, a red background behind her.*
*A cat with a beanie hat elbows Lucy as he cuts ahead in the bus line.*
*Augustus gets on the bus, leaving Lucy behind.*
Lucy: HEY!!
*Lucy yells from outside as Augustus boards.*
Lucy: Just let me come! I can always find my own way back!
Bus driver: You’re holding us up.
*Augustus points back at Lucy.*
Augustus: Sorry, she’s trying to get on the wrong bus.
Lucy: What?!
Lucy: W-wait!
*The bus door closes on her.*
*The bus drives off, leaving behind visible exhaust. Lucy is left in the smoke, dejected.*
