Jesus, some people are huge assholes huh? Some people don't have fancy art programs or tablet mouses, does that mean they should just NOT participate? Adam, that art isn't the best, but you gave it a go and it turned out pretty well for a mouse. so don't listen to the total jerks.
Whenever I look at my old art like this, I feel fucking sick. I did this back in the awkward time period I like to call "middle school". Back in those days, I had a heavy Garfield influence in my art, except executed horribly, like that shitty webcomic One Frame Gags. Needless to say, when one wants to do digital art, MS Paint with a mouse is NOT the way to go. Problem was, I was kinda poor as ass in those days, so I couldn't do digital art very well at all. No tablet or software meant all I could do was this shit.
Bad art aside, it's just crap in general. I couldn't get any of the characters right, my "jokes" fell totally flat, and I really had an excessive hate-boner for shipping.
5 years later, I've got a Hanvon tablet and the free version of Autodesk Sketchbook. Not only that, but I also realized I could scan some loose-leaf pages full of sketches onto my computer. Just look at my deviantART gallery (under MadMan400096, like most every other site I go on; I don't remember why I used this screename here). The differences in style is jarring. I've really been working on improving my craft, and I'm even planning to make a webcomic. This badly drawn, unfunny farce isn't indicative of my current skills at all. In fact, I'm thinking of making a new BCB art meme, which I hope will be much, much, MUCH better than this fucking thing.
