She looks up into the sky, gazing at the clouds and the infinite blue behind. It is her sophomore year at Roseville University, and though it has only been two years since her graduation, she couldn't help but think back to the years when the gang would... well, do anything, basically. She remembers the parties they would use to have, the many conflicts they had with each other, the laughter elicited from Paulo and David's antics, the tears that would flow freely down her cheeks.
Her new ribbon flutters in the wind, unrestrained. Feeling the wind blow through her hair, Lucy closes her eyes, intent on reliving the more turbulent days of her life. Heh. She let out a small chuckle.
So many things happened back then, she thought. It's amazing I lived through it relatively unscathed.
Her eyes opened, her feet continued to trod the campus road.
Ryan got it right but the image change should take place next year so when she comes back to school everyone is surprised. I imagine the change would take place as a result of getting over mike and wanting to forget the past.
