Pitch black is a pain to manage as a colour, and I don't like pure gray, so I always add a shadow of something else, even when I draw Michael. Deal with it. :P

Well in some cases when black fur has bright sun shining on it the reflection on the hairs can cause it to illuminate into a brighter color. Dunno how it's purple but that's maybe a reason why.

There are two possibilities in this:

1. Paulo, digging the ball over is not smart. And Jasmine, good reflexes. You must be a ninja

2. Paulo, that's not how you block a spike. Especially from that close. And Jasmine, judging by the shadows, you're jumping pretty damn high. you must be a ninja

Conclusion: Paulo doesn't know how to play volleyball. Jasmine is a ninja.

This is seriously an incredibly challenging angle and I give you props for giving it a shot, seriously it is pretty convincing for me!!

Thanks a lot, I do believe it is not perfect (esp. her feet are too little compared to Paulo's proportions) but it was nice to try.

About the game... Paulo is defending against a possible flip, the spike will eventually be someone else's job. I'm surprised that no one complained that they should have been in the same team instead! ;)
