The blue scarf is an obvious reference to his Lucy attachment. Striped one means that he’s not sure how he feels about her. There’s not much to reveal… they’ll be back together by the end of 2011.

Back together by the end of the year? Not at the rate things are going now. Extrapolating from the current pace, I figure it’ll be the day after tomorrow at the latest in December. Best case scenario, Lucy wins him back tomorrow, but being the kind of guy who goes into attacks of guilt over pining after two girls at once, he’s going to at least need a night to break up with Sandy before he’s willing to commit, which probably puts them officially getting together some time around next February.
Unless she sneaks out and sexes him tonight; then he’ll have to wake Sandy up to dump her so he can pretend he didn’t cheat, and that way the whole thing could be resolved as early as August or so.

Nothing wrong with being an Atheist. As long as your beliefs don’t interfere with anyone else’s freedoms or safety, there is no problem in believing what you want too.
I personally am an Atheist, but I encourage everyone to look long and hard into there own thoughts and feelings and choose based on what feels right for them.

I’ve been reading through the archives, and while I want to like this comic, I just can’t.
First, having Paulo call in women to beat up Mikey isn’t funny, it’s stale. How many times are you gonna pull that joke? The only somewhat funny thing is that angry feminists do act like that.
Second, editing out the phrase “God Sucks” shows a severe lack of artistic backbone. Are you actually telling me that because a few people didn’t get a joke in your comic, you edited it out? Seriously?

Tess looks particularly pretty in the end of this comic.. and yeah, this comic not only serves as a better version of the flashback comics, but it introduces Mike’s new scarf!
One thing I need to mention that I’m sure people have wondered.. why on earth do I still draw Mike with his blue scarf in other drawings? Well.. whenever I draw concept doodles of the character or when I draw Mike “out of the continuity”.. he will always have his blue scarf. It’s a bit of an acquired characteristic.. but when I’m drawing him in the story or coloring a comic that’s within the storyline, he will have the striped scarf. The true reasoning to it will be revealed soon enough.. it’s just one of those special mysteries for now.
The end was just me being an angsty whiner since I was feeling a bit annoyed at the time.. and I didn’t want people being all “LOL I SEE ANGST IN THIS COMIC” like captain obviouses.. hence why I drew ❚❚❚❚❚❚ and David. Sorry about that, it was kind of stupid of me to do and kind of ruins the end of the comic.. but yeah ;.; I CAN BE AN IDIOT SOMETIMES. “GOD SUCKS” in the final panel isn’t meant to be.. like.. me saying that God sucks.. more saying “GOD THIS SUCKS”.. I hope that’s understandable.. but I always look at that panel and keep hoping people don’t think I’m some sort of atheist or something!
