Anyway, no matter how much I whined throughout this chapter, I did like the concept of having another outsider looking into Lucy and Mike’s conflict. Zachary was the observer in the summer vacation arc, and it basically seems to have a pattern of Lucy being freaken nuts.
People might slap me on the wrist at my recent PauloxLucyness. I want to basically come out and say I freaken LOVE PauloxLucy, and I GUESS it might have affected the story a bit (Considering that not everything is set in stone), but I guarantee you that anything absolutely crucial to the comic is not changed to be more PauloxLucy. Certain things cannot change, and by certain things, I mean the ending. So no matter what happens, the ending will not change.
And regarding PauloxLucy, this didn’t really come out of thin air. There has ALWAYS been a tension between the two characters, going as far as Paulo’s creation. In the original Bittersweet comic (The comics I did when I was twelve), Paulo was built as a sole love interest for Lucy, someone that would take Lucy away and be a “better” person. Paulo was even hinted as a huge interest in the first chapter of this revival, Lucy was fawning over him etc. So of course, even now, they’re gonna have their clashes, but one thing’s for sure, Lucy’s never going to fully go his way. And Paulo knows that. The page before, they weren’t even NEAR making out. They would have never gone that far even if Mike didn’t appear.. Paulo just likes to push his luck hence the ass-grab.. I mean why not? He knows he’s never gonna be the one. Might as well cop a feel once in a while and get as much as he can, that’s how he rolls.

I think the best thing about this admission is the fact that you didn’t say that things wouldn’t end up Paulo x Lucy, you merely said it wouldn’t be made any more so. ;D
The biggest thing about this comic is that it reminds me of… well, myself. And not in a good way. I was Mike back in high school, though my (female) friends (at least a couple of whom had crushes on me, as well as probably a few other people 
) were much less ascerbic and vice-versa. And of course, I pined away for someone I couldn’t have… not that I’d change anything, but reading this comic, I get more of the female point of view, and man, it would have sucked to be someone who liked me in high school.
I really love your comic, and am now an avid fan. Thank you for making it!
