Author commentary

Veronica: I really liked the concept of having an outsider looking into Lucy and Mike’s conflict. Zachary was the unbiased observer in the Summer Vacation arc, and if I have to admit something, before Zachary was created, Paulo was originally gonna fill Zachary’s shoes in the Summer Vacation arc!

I obviously changed that by creating an entirely new character, but Paulo always had that potential to be an observer of Mike and Lucy’s dynamic and able to give some.. slightly not biased criticism? Well, certainly less biased than Daisy. Okay, it’s pretty biased towards Lucy at the end of the day, but he’s honestly been very fair this chapter! And he’s called Lucy out a bunch! Let’s give Paulo some credit here!
