And Paulo is still trying to at least somewhat protect his tough-guy image. Still, I would have thought Mike would at least tell Paulo what’s going on with Lucy, or at least tell him his involvment. Or is that time not upon us yet?
Also, way to go, Mike. Despite all that’s happened, you still try to be supportive of your friend right now. A sight for sore eyes in all this drama and hatred going around.
Although going off of the comment in the latest askbcb, I get the feeling we’re finally moving away from all this Lucy-related drama and going to some of the other characters again. Maybe something with Daisy and Abbey? Or Augustus? Or all three? I guess we’ll find out soon enough…

@People surprised Mike didn’t tell Paulo what he did: He’s still recovering from that realization of “Oh god, I am an asshole. what have I done?!” If I was in his position, I don’t think I would fess up to anyone yet, would rather wallow in my own regret alone for awhile, and NOT have people running up and enforcing the thought that “Hey, you are an asshole!” Mike’s in a tough spot now, realizing he fucked up, and isn’t ready to fess up and face the hate filled music just yet.

And Paulo, you had a massive breakdown infront of the guy you probably hate the most, and now trying to recover your tough guy image. I guess I understand you trying to keep up that protective mask of yours, but honestly, at this point you may as well let your shields down and accept the help that the GUY YOU HAD RIDICULED, CALLED NAMES, AND BEAT UP WITH THE ANTI-CHEATER SQUAD FOR WHO KNOWS HOW LONG is trying to offer you.

To answer your question, Lucy’s in a hospital right now, and she’ll be out soon. Mike was told she was going to be leaving in a week. As for the randomly being nice thing, Mike is naturally nice to everyone… well except for Lucy recently because he honestly thought she was trying to ruin his relationship with Sandy.

Also, if you remember Chapter 72: Buddy System you’ll see that in a way, Mike and Paulo are actually good friends. Plus it looks like Paulo doesn’t know everything that has happened with Lucy… if he did, Mike wouldn’t be smiling right now in fact he’d be running from Paulo’s imminent rage.

It also helps that all the anger Mike had vanished when he realized that Lucy wasn’t as bad as he made her out to be… right now he’s feeling way too much guilt to be mad at anyone.
