okay last one i swear.
Sandy speaks first in the last 3 rows, I tried to specify that by making Mike's bubbles lower but not sure it's obvious enough, y'know.
BCB is quite a few years behind real time, about when I Phones became popular I think, so it could be the whole video chat dealio isn't that big at the time.
^ i'm sure they could have also used a service such as msn, which was still alive at the time, but also keep in mind that sandy is super duper busy so she probably doesn't have much time to sit at a computer, let alone make too many of the phone calls we see actually happen in the story
aaaah, i feel so bad for these guys though. i'm glad they've found ways to keep thriving despite being so far apart, but it must suck only being able to yknow...even hold one another for a few minutes every once in a blue moon
but i digress. you did a very nice job with this! did you make each row a different color to convey mood? i notice that the boxes get slightly warmer in color up until mike finally blows up, and cool down for the resolution of the comic
yeah, the colour changing to suit the mood was on purpose, glad you picked up on that rory and also, yyyyeah i hadn't quite considered the possibility of video calls and stuff, but even then, it's not the same as looking someone in the eyes irl, you know?
