YAY! I never thought I’d like PauloxLucy since PauloxDaisy is my favorite but it’s really growing on me ! And fast!
This is definitely one of the best pages so far of the chapter! The paneling is fantastic, and the glow of the alarm clock is well thought out. Very well done.

I wrote my comment on the previous page before even turning to this one… and I was right!

As f0r PauloxLucy, (Paulo & Lucy, dammit!) I think everyone’s just warming up to the idea now since Mike has made his case pretty clear and that this was the pairing that’s been in the making since they were in 5th grade and Paulo was the too-shy new kid.
Plus Tess has expressed her opinion of a relationship between her and Paulo being less than ideal not only because of age difference, but also because it would be fairly short-lived when she graduates at the end of the year and goes off to college.

And yeah, as great as VGCats was/is, Scott’s priorities seem to have shifted away from his comics for the most part.

I can understand why most of you have eyes popping out of your heads. Don’t worry. You won’t be mentally scarred this time through. Though funny stuff happens in a few pages. Unfortunately, you won’t be able to say, “MY MIND! IT IS BLOWN!” Too bad.

I honestly gotta say, I like the way panel 3 looks (or is it picture 3). I don’t know what to call it but its the one right under the first one. I’m not so sure why I like it, but I think its because I like the way they are shown, and I tend to appreciate when the idea of a picture is shown perfectly, like how Paulo is willing to confort Lucy. Or maybe its just because I’m a sap for drama or emotions.

Meh, it might be both, but I still like it. ^^
