I think he just slept over. Like when Luce slept over at his place.
I really doubt Paulo would sleep with another girl when he’s this much in love, whether Lucy is gone “forever” or not. I mean, he was even the guy who said no to Lucy when she was desperate. And no matter how much Rachel is a “slut”, I really don’t think she’d sleep with Paulo as comfort.
