gdi kit this is so perfect, the expressions the poses the effects the backgrounds the dialogue the composition... maybe you should do comics more often, or even frequently, or even once a week......

Can we get one for Abbey? I'd ask about Alejandro but it's too good for him. Yes I'm aware it can be overloaded with embarrassing results, but it's not enough.

Man, I remember the weird blob feet! Often times they were misshapen and would stick out like a sore thumb. I'd wonder why everyone didn't just have paws instead, as it wouldn't require that much work and would look less jarring.

But because of today's comic style, none of that matters! I feel like Taeshi's way of drawing proportions is better now than it's ever been.

okay I drew this rly fast mostly so I can rant about Jordan bc honestly this sweetheart went through way more than anybody is talking about??

his sister attempted suicide and he had to deal with a lot of the aftermath. not only is he grieving, but he probably blames himself for not noticing that something was going on with Lucy.And unlike Sam and his mom he has to go to school and listen to all these rumors about her, and then has to see and be constantly harassed by Lucy's friends ( not in that sense more as her friends constantly bugging him about her or being around him when he doesn't want to even look at them). Because not only does he blame himself but them too and being constantly reminded of your sister being in a hospital/away from home is pretty damn hard.

And the thing about suicide is that the attemptee recovers fast and generally finds themselves ( as lucy has shown ) and becomes more open about what happened. Where as a family member never recovers from it. They are always terrified of it happening again and in the recent chapters Jordan is showing these signs especially when she walked home with Augustus and not her.

Anyways lol I just hope to see a chapter where Lucy and Jordan can bond and he can let out these feelings ( because they are pretty bottled up pal )

Oh wow, I haven't even thought of that aspect of Jordan's character. (Though tbh I've never payed him much attention in the first place.) That's gotta be rough to deal with. Poor guy. He's so sweet. ;__;

Actually anyone who attempts it, even if unsuccessful, is more likely to try again. People often get driven even further because they "can't even get dying right". While there are groups with higher rates of suicide, many of which Lucy is a part of, a huge contributor is because the same person will often make multiple attempts. For instance, a lot of people who jump and survive will probably try again. It's not like in tv where everything is resolved in a half hour, or even some visual novels over the course of a year. It can take a long, long time. Chronic Depression also exists, in which case the Depression will be lifelong.

The thing is, a lot of depressed people are good at hiding it. So are suicidal people, unfortunately.

@comfit: THANK YOU.. my line choice is always rough and traditional-styled, i can't ink nicely with perfect digital brushes to save my life haha. i'm glad you like my expressions, recently i've been unsure about those!
and yes, i just... don't think mike really *sees* what lucy went through, like how she almost killed herself, how ugly and hurtful and disgusting and sad and painful it was, how SUICIDE is, and i think he really just needed to have been there lmfao to get the idea, idk. he's just so obsessed with sandy that he can't see things for how serious / bad they are i suppose..
and thank you again! i'd like doing serious stuff too! it's fun, i just hardly ever finish them as compared to my more fluffier drawings so the latter is what always gets posted LOL
