Darn you, strategically placed dress!
I actually quite enjoy this one if I hadn't butchered some of the composition with the background. I even enjoyed drawing it, which is great! Lately I've been feeling down.
Anyway, Taskeshi's wise words of 'practice from realism at least 15 minutes a day (paraphrased) has now helped me in the art of drawing backs.

As for lucy, I really like her hair but I feel like the bags under her eyes make her look sort of... old? Also her dress could use a few wrinkles, it could use a little more detail! And both of paulo's hands look a bit awkward, like there are no joints :-[ maybe fix that a little?

But other than that oh man this is the best <3

Thanks, especially for the advice, I'll keep that in mind next time! I knew his hands were wonky, but I just gave up on them after drawing them so many times, which is never good, lol. As for the bags, not only did I want to make them look a bit more mature, I thought about all the drama she's put through; Mike, her issues, whatever would be going on before prom. Bags just seemed appropriate in that kinda life. But in a happier picture, it would make more sense to lighten them up a little~
