hmmm this chapter seems so..so different from the rest of the series.it seems like it’s just like an intros and focusses on showing tehc hara instead of as well keeping with the storie.
the it is neet and the art is exelent.And I love what you did on the final page and went back to drawing it likwe it was in late 06

This chapter is amazing. I like it a lot and the way you were able to introduce all the main characters in such a limited amount of pages was great. Especially since the personalities were amazingly defined. I liked the fact that you made the art move back into the shadeless and box like style of the beginning. I don’t even remember how I stumbled upon this comic, but I’ve loved it for years.

I honestly did not feel that much life into the older comics. Then again, its the beginning of a great bittersweet bowl ‘o life and any new comic tends too be bland in the beginning. But with age comes experience like all of us going through life.
With that in mind if you remember waaaay back in Elementary, Grammar, whatever you called it, School you can somewhat remember how bland our day too day life was.
I feel it wasn’t until middle school that our life became interesting.
Just my two cents.

You know… Going back and reading this after having read the rest of the series… It almost feels like this happens AFTER everything… Sort of like what Phillip was saying…
There’s definitely elements that point to that not being true, like Paulo still being the way he is, and Mike still being that protective… But it always confused me as to why she got on the skateboard when I first read it, as she clearly dislikes Paulo from here on out… But it sort of makes sense if it occurs sometime after “Back And Forth”…
I don’t know… Maybe I’m just babbling ^^;

Hahaa. I just yesterday finished reading the archives from start to end, after getting pointed here from MSPA. This comic is FANTASTIC. 
nFirm new fan, hope the updates never stop! Although I hafta say the first time I read this chapter, because I had no idea who the characters were, I thought for a long time that Maishul really WAS a park ranger… Ehehe. ^-^;

Mavie: I think that is very odd for you to say because Lucy was totally into Paulo a bit in the old old Unfulfilled Day comic. Like when he appears she’s all smitten by him, so I tried to keep that element of his. As well as the element of Daisy being all lovey-dovey towards Mike, and Lucy being all annoyed over it. Unfulfilled Day also pictured Lucy as more of a relaxed, kind of happy girl.. admittedly I can see what you mean in her. Unfulfilled Day Lucy was pretty happy and oblivious admittedly.

I really enjoyed this first chapter, not big on swearing however it can be over looked, anyway you have a definite talent for comic making.
I liked how David says “Paulo we don’t want to anger park rangers, they’ll summon park bears.”
I especially liked when he screamed “THEY KNOW OUR FACES!” as he ran away.
I look forward to reading the rest of the comic, now I just need to save the website.

I see the difference between “Middle School Lucy” and “High School Lucy” now. The younger version of her had a couple of whiskers on each side, prolly(ow, chatspeak) because of the fact, well, she’s a cat. And the older version of her had hair triangles at the bottom, as if she grew her fur-hair out…

I guess I wanted to leave the end all white because the next million chapters or so are gonna be in that format, since you’ll be delving into the wasteland of 2006! Hope you enjoy your flight.
