*Mike yawns while walking down the school hallway.*

Daisy: You seem tired, Mikie.. Did you sleep poorly?
*Mike waves her away.*
Mike: I’m okay!

*Mike overhears Paulo and David chatting behind him.*
Paulo: Yeah, I heard she’s absent because of mono.
David: Wow, wonder who she got it from.

*Mike snaps and screams at them.*
Mike: IT WASN’T ME!!

*Paulo narrows his eyes.*
Paulo: Of course. You’re too much of a pussy to score with Katie.
David: He means that in the derogatory way.

*Mike looks nervous.*
Mike: Oh.. umm.. yeah. I’m sure it was the head.. football.. guy.

Mike: But I wonder why Lucy’s absent today..
Daisy: ?

Lucy: Who said I’m absent? Class hasn’t even started!
*Mike is startled and blushes.*

Lucy: Yashy was having nightmares so I had to calm her down. I overslept a little.
*Yashy bears her teeth in anger.*
Yashy: YOU DON’T HAVE TO TELL EVERYBODY!!

Paulo: Yo, babe ♥ What’s kicking?
*Lucy leans towards Paulo.*
Lucy: My foot into your face if you don’t quit calling me babe ♥

Lucy: Oh! Hi, Mike!
Mike: …

*Mike, pouting his lips, blushes and sweats.*
Mike: Hi

*Yashy raises an eyebrow.*
Yashy: Why are you pouting your lips like that? Having an affair with the air?
Lucy: ?

Mike: …
Daisy: ?

*Mike runs away, distraught. Everyone looks on with blank faces.*
Mike: I’M GOING TO CLASS

*Now in class, Mike rests his head on his desk.*
Mike: No.. nghh.. no.. nghh..

*Mike sleep-talks, a huge blush on his face.*
Mike: NO! I DON’T WANT TO THINK OF YOUR PRETTY LIPS!!

*The Sex-ed teacher approaches and glares at Mike. Mike startles awake, a stunned look on his face.*

Veronica: Mono is a kissing disease, for those unaware! I’m sure it has a better, more official label, but I always heard it being referred to as “mono” when I used to go to school.

Oh, that sex-ed teacher. When is she not ready to kill Mike.

Poor Mike…..it was exactly the same for me…had to avoid her for a week, then I felt really bad so apologized the weekend after. But It was exactly the same as it is for mike. I love re-reading.
