“Don’t scare me like that!” coming from a mother is sweet.
“Don’t scare me like that!” coming from Daisy is not. She has always been selfish, so having her say that line when someone else has been hurt just further proves that glaring flaw of hers. Maybe it doesn’t, in this case, but it can’t be denied that Daisy is persistently selfish. It’s not that she CAN be but that she IS.
