1 - Paulo had plenty of opportunities to tell Lucy how he felt.
2 - Beating somebody up is not “reasonable” whatever the circumstances.
3 - Mike is not a jerk. He is a bullied person who went too far calling somebody out. He has done bad things but that doesn’t make him a jerk.

I like how Paulo’s emotions right now are similar to the ones Rachel had in the flashback in Pillow talk. It’s like she’s looking at her own reflection.
Having someone you love in a hospital with their dreams broken and no chance of things returning back to the way they were… she knows that feel, bro.
