Mike and Amaya watching a movie together.

Happy Amaya! Yay!

I can tell Mike's a little nervous, ha!

self indulgent doodles of bcb characters as my characters

Such nice lineart *_*

Yes. Yes. Yes. All of my Yes.
I could kiss whoever requested this.

Glad you like it, it really did turn out great didn't it.

Augustus vie Brittania

I can't look at anything remotely Code Geass without thinking of the AbridgeMENT.

This is brilliant

Aaahhhhh. ;___;
Sweet precious children. This is so cute. ;;;

question: why isn't Jasmine, well... Jasmine, from Alladin?

Aladdin*

In a spitting match nobody spits like Mulan!

Just precious

@SCD :-(. I'm on my way with grapes.

"Listen David, I love you too, but I think I heard something pop..."

Thank you <3
So adorable

Mike from BCB as Michael from The Office

Same

That's disgusting.

More Zootopia!~

I'm 100% on board with any picture where Lucy looks this happy!

Zootopia is my second favorite movie!!

KYAAAAAAAAAAA THIS IS SO CUUUUUUTE

She whispered sweet nothingness....

This is the cutest thing in the entire history of things.

Let me guess... is Q-Bert another one of those stupid-ass rappers?

I just googled Q-Bert... he's a video game?!?!

I love mike.
I also love sandy and lucy as individuals, but not as a couple with mike.

His relationship is one-sided toxic. Sandy benefits greatly from them being together, but mike does not. He's become emotionally unstable, aggressive and depressed as their relationship has gone on while she has more or less blossomed. Lucy and mike could become friends again, but you never fully regain that trust after a suicide attempt. ( Especially since mike blames himself for it, and lucy might blame him partially for it too ). I think if they did become a couple it just wouldn't work out unless they both worked really hard but I personally don't like the shipping lol.

I hope mike gets help in this chapter or later chapters because he needs it. If he opens up to the fact that he is in a bad state because right now he sure doesn't want to accept it.

Sorry for the rant lmao

fucking gorgeous art as usual garb
and why are you sorry about your evaluation? I actually love it when people talk about the characters, their development, their opinions etc? it makes me really happy when I click on any piece of art and there's a huge wall of text in the comment section lmao

god i hope he gets help too
he's in a very bad place rn and i'm so sad for him ))))':

GREAT ART THOUGH i loved the symbolism so much like hot damN!!

@jappo thanks I appreciate the critique! I made them grey to give the color of lucy and sadny's ribbons more pop lol plus to downsize his feelings like he does to himself in the chapters

I agree with Glitchism, I love having a space like this to discuss the comic and hear people's opinions about characters. Web comics are so so fun to read. I wrote my college thesis about web comics and how art and story telling has changed and developed as a result of people being able to just make their craft without having to produce in a specific style and at the speed that was required for the mass production of things like super hero comics.
The only downside though, is that they progress much slower, and so full story arcs, like people getting into relationships, struggling in them, and coming to terms that their unhealthy, can take years to reach their completion. Which means that high school kids right now, who relate to these kinds of situations or can find similarities to things happening in their own lives don't get to find out what the resolution could be, or don't get to learn what to avoid doing till they've already learned these lessons on their own.
So having people openly discuss it and be like "HEY THIS IS SUPER UNHEALTHY" is really good, I think.

(Here's my wall of text so you don't have to be self conscious about yours anymore!

ohhhhhh garb this is so dang good, i love the choice you made with the colors. definitely adds to the emotion & heaviness in this!! also ur lines & poses & expressions are good as always

and i totally agree with u; mike's havin a tough time rn & deserves better

you, my friend, summed up my feelings about Mike in a nutshell. Thank you.

Wow. This is REALLY good!

i think theyd make a nice pair even though the chances of them actually being created in canon are slim to none
heavily editing characters into kids is fun as hell, though

These are beautifully drawn, capturing Taeshi's style nicely.

It actually looks like the real characters!
