Man, this page hits hard. Great emotional payoff after the last few pages, and a strong start to the chapter. Really drives home the Lucy x Augustus dynamic (although I'm biased there lol). I love the first panel!

I will always love these two together. He gets her. He actually pays attention to her. He engages with her on a deeper level. He appreciates her acerbic personality rather than just tolerating it and burying resentment about it. She sees him and fights for him in return. This dynamic simply has everything I want for both of them and it kills me.

I'm so happy Lucy has Augustus, she needs someone who gets it and can open up to. This chapter is also painfully relatable as someone with CPTSD, I can understand Lucy's pain and wish I could hug her.
