*Mike and Lucy walk through the school hallway with blank expressions.*
Mike: We’re in the home stretch.
Lucy: How exciting.

*Yashy is floating on her back through a chocolate river that’s flowing through the school. Mike and Lucy look on.*
Mike: You’re not impressed David found a way to flood the hall with chocolate ice cream?
Lucy: Eh.
*Yashy looks blissful.*
Yashy: This is the life~..

*David celebrates with a “rock on” hand gesture.*
David: Best senior prank ever!!
*Paulo tastes some of the chocolate on his finger, making a disgusted face.*
Paulo: Kinda grimy.

[Caption: Anyway..]
*The poodle teacher looks tearful and disheartened. “DOOM” text surrounds her.*

*The poodle teacher sobs.*
Poodle teacher: I’ll miss you guys SOOOOO much!!
*Her students sweat awkwardly.*

*Mike sits at his desk, frowning.*
Mike: Poor teacher..
*Yashy, who has chocolate all over her mouth, scowls at the poodle teacher.*
Yashy: WUSS!
*Lucy glares at Yashy.*
Lucy: Shh.

*The poodle teacher starts to hand out papers to her class, still crying.*
Poodle teacher: Here’s your placements for the coming school year..

*Lucy studies her sheet while Yashy watches her.*
Lucy: Hmm.. CP English? Gotta read two books from this list..

*Lucy turns to Mike.*
Lucy: What are you picking, Mike?
*Mike sweats as he examines his paper.*
Mike: I.. actually don’t have a choice!
Lucy: Huh? What do you mean?

*Mike smiles with a slight blush.*
Mike: They put me in Honors English!
*Lucy gasps.*
Lucy: WHAT!!

*Daisy waves excitedly at Mike. The poodle teacher walks away gloomily.*
Daisy: Wow, Mikie. You’ll be with me!

Daisy: ♥ Wanna read all the required books together? ♥
*Mike looks stunned.*
Mike: Uh, maybe..
*Yashy gnashes her teeth while Lucy looks grumpy.*
Yashy: LIKE HELL YOU WILL

*David reads his new schedule.*
David: English I?
*Paulo laughs uproariously.*
Paulo: HAHA!! You’re in the class for stupids!!

*David smirks at Paulo.*
David: At least I only gotta read ONE book!
*Paulo glares back.*
Paulo: ’Cuz you’re too stupid to read two.

*Katie frowns at Stacy.*
Katie: Like how’d you get into, like, Honors?!
[An arrow, pointed to Katie’s paper: English I]
*Stacy attempts to look innocent, avoiding eye contact with Katie.*
Stacy: Like I dunno.

*The school bell loudly rings. Mike shudders.*
Mike: Well.. there is one thing I know I won’t be missing..
*Lucy smirks.*

*The poodle teacher looks over at her students, tears still in her eyes.*
Poodle teacher: IT’S OVER?!

*She chases after her students as they awkwardly shuffle out of the classroom.*
Poodle teacher: DON’T LEAVE!

Author commentary

Veronica: Man, I’m gonna miss this cute dog teacher!! Because Mike and Lucy and the rest are switching to an entirely different school, you won’t get to see her again!! Which is quite depressing. She was always there in the old series.. but then again Mike and Lucy never ended up going to high school in those comics. So it’s no wonder I never had to say goodbye to her in the pre-BCB comics.

Stacy climbing ladders while still pretending to have her head in the clouds.. you should learn from Katie and become a full-fledged ditz!
