*Mike looks nervous as Lucy smiles sweetly.*
Mike: What did you say..?

Lucy: You were right~! ♥

*Lucy pulls Mike’s face to her chest with a hug..*
Lucy: I’m such a silly willy girl~! You sure showed me~ ♥

*Mike makes a blissful expression as Lucy holds him to her chest.*
Lucy: ..Mike?
Mike: ..♥

Mike: So soft..
Lucy: WHAT!!
*Yashy walks back into the scene as Lucy beats Mike up.*

*Mike lays on the floor blushing intensely, while Lucy sighs.*
Lucy: Well, that backfired.
Mike: Gyah~ ♥

Lucy: Wanna play more?
Mike: Okay!

Mike: Let’s try something else, though.
Lucy: Sure, why not?

[Caption: Later]
Lucy: THAT’S NOT FAIR!!
Mike: Oh my god, SHUT UP! I didn’t sandbag!!
Lucy: YOU’RE LYING!!
*Yashy looks annoyed at the continued bickering.*
Yashy: …

Yashy: Time to take Mom home. Later, Blur.
*Blur remains embedded in the ceiling.*
Blur: See ya.

Yashy: Hold it, guys.
*Mike and Lucy, fists raised at each other, pause to look at Yashy.*

*Flower petals surround Yashy, whose eyes are sparkling.*
Yashy: I am here to deliver harmony and peace..

*Yashy climbs on top of Lucy’s back, surprising her.*
Yashy: We must depart, my stallion..

*Yashy weeps heartfelt tears, sparkles surrounding her.*
Yashy: For we have overstayed our welcome..

*Mike holds in his laughter as Yashy pulls on Lucy’s ribbon.*
Yashy: GIDDIAP!!

[A panel shows the exterior of Mike’s house. Yashy has been kicked through the roof, high into the sky.]
Yashy: Aaaaaaaa!!

Lucy: So what else you got?
Mike: Well, I DO have Gallop Racer 2004..

*Mike covers his mouth barely stifling his laughter.*
Mike: Maybe we could name a horse after you?
*Lucy leers at Mike, her fist raised in anger.*

Author commentary

Veronica: If only the comic didn’t take place in 2006, Mike coulda referenced Twilight Princess!! But he had to reference a more niche kind of horse game. At least you know Mike is a cool kid with wide knowledge of video games.

It’s nice coming back to these older pages and reminiscing in the times when their relationship wasn’t as complicated. Here, they’re still good friends.
