Daisy: WAAAAAAAA
*Daisy is still clinging to Paulo who continues to blush and look uncomfortable. David appears from the side, annoyed.*
David: HEY! How come he gets a hug?!

*Paulo raises his hands in the air, exasperated.*
Paulo: LOOK what you’ve DONE
*Daisy cries, hugging Paulo tight.*
Daisy: I’m gunna miss you.. so much, Mikie..
*Mike pats Daisy’s shoulder.*
Mike: There, there.

Mike: You know, I really owe a lot to you guys..
*Daisy walks away, wiping her eyes. Paulo, flustered, crosses his arms across his chest as he watches her leave.*

Mike: And I gotta thank YOU most of all!
Paulo: What? Why?

*Mike grins.*
Mike: You turned all the girls against me!

*Mike throws his arms in the air and points to himself with a wide grin.*
Mike: Your stunt yesterday means I never have to worry about those fawning fangirls ever again!
*Paulo looks at Mike incredulously.*
Paulo: What?!

Mike: Observe!
*Mike sits back in his chair as Carey, a cat with freckles and a ponytail, walks by.*

*Mike turns and waves cheerfully to Carey.*
Mike: Heya, Carey!
*Carey scowls at Mike, holding her hands to herself in disgust.*
Carey: Eww, don’t talk to me, you awful awful cheater!

*Mike smiles proudly.*
Mike: Have a nice life, Carey!
*Lucy and Tess look on, unimpressed.*
Lucy: Such a charmer.

*Mike turns to Paulo, smirking. Paulo folds his arms in disappointment.*
Paulo: Damn, what a waste of potential.

*Paulo raises his fist with a mischievous grin.*
Paulo: Oh well! That just leaves a lot more for me!

Mike: ?!
*Mike furrows his brow as Paulo rushes away.*

*Paulo slides across the table and grins confidently at Lucy, who recoils.*
Paulo: So many lovely ladies ripe for the picking! ♥

Mike: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

*Mike, with a sinister smile, grabs Paulo’s tail.*
Mike: You wish.

*Mike flips Paulo over his shoulder.*
Paulo: AUGHH!!

*Mike folds his arms and waves his finger, coolly dismissing Paulo.*
Mike: She’s still my friend, and I’m not letting you mess with her ♥
Paulo: You SUCK!!

*Daisy wails once more.*
Daisy: WHY DOES HE HAVE TO BE SO COOL!!
*Lucy, eyes closed with a small frown, rests her head on her palm.*
Lucy: zzz
[An arrow, pointed to Lucy: Falling asleep]

Author commentary

Veronica: I love that Daisy is mourning Mike as if he just freaken died. I guess there’s technically some mourning she needs to do, even though Mike was not really available before Sandy.. get in line, Daisy.

Anyway, that’s the end of that!

I suppose a girl might find him charming now. I know better. His life might seem better, but I’ve been in his shoes, a penpal (or e-pal, take your pick) and a girl I always hang out with. I settled with my pen/e-pal and settled with friendship for my current girl. It wasn’t as easy as it seems. If you don’t believe me, let me ask you one thing. Where is his scarf? He may seem like he’s got a perfect life, but as the saying goes, every rose has it’s thorns.
