Daisy: What did you say?!
*Augustus flashes Daisy a coy smile.*
Augustus: Huh? Nothing at all.. Just saying hello ♥

*Augustus’ smile fades when Daisy turns her back to him and pouts.*
Augustus: What did you think I said?
Daisy: Nothing, I guess.. I must be hearing things.

*Daisy, looking up to Augustus with a blush, begins to play idly with one of her hair curls. Augustus glances up, noticing something across the table.*
Augustus: ..?

*Lucy climbs up from the floor and steadies herself on the table. Abbey looks at her curiously.*
Lucy: Don’t ask.
*Tess crosses her arms and scowls at Augustus.*

*Augustus looks back at Tess, a sinister edge in his smile.*
Augustus: …

*Yashy glares at Augustus, raising her arm aggressively.*
Yashy: Hey, creeper! You here to rob us or something?
*Augustus and Daisy look at Yashy with a blank stare.*

*Augustus laughs with a friendly smile.*
Augustus: Looks can be deceiving, little one!
*Yashy recoils with a slight blush and sweats nervously.*
Yashy: I’m not falling for your trickery!

*Tess, resting her head on her hand, looks up at Augustus, unimpressed.*
Tess: I can see through it already.
*Augustus’ smile fades as he glances back at her.*

Augustus: Did you have something to say about honesty, Tessa?
*Tess’ eyes widen in fear.*

*Tess looks away, deflated.*
Paulo: Tess..?
*Paulo looks at Tess with concern.*

*Paulo grits his teeth and scowls at Augustus.*
Paulo: Dude, don’t talk to her. Who the hell are you, anyway?

Augustus: Someone who knows a little, that’s all.
*Augustus smiles and shrugs at Paulo, who continues to scowl.*
Paulo: Knows what??

*Augustus smugly grins and folds his arms.*
Augustus: Another freshman?
Paulo: Yeah?
Augustus: Ah, well that explains a lot..
*Paulo stands, defiant and suspicious.*
Paulo: Explains what, jackass?

Augustus: I see I’ve overstayed my welcome. Daisy?
*Augustus smiles sweetly at her. Daisy looks up with a worried expression.*

Augustus: I was only really here to see you.

Augustus: I don’t want to embarrass you in front of your friends. I’ll see you later.
*Daisy gazes wistfully at Augustus, a blush on her cheeks.*

*Daisy watches Augustus walk away.*
Daisy (thinking): Why’s he so interested in me? He’s a complete stranger.. And yet..

*Tess warmly smiles at Paulo.*
Tess: You didn’t have to stand up for me like that, Paulo..
*Paulo blushes and waves her off.*
