*Tess, now with a pink streak in her hair and a studded necklace, smiles as she walks away after bullying Jessica, who is in tears.*

*Tess, now with short hair, watches over the lunch table. Paulo laughs at David lapping from his bowl. Lucy and Mike are in the foreground.*

*Tess, Paulo, David, Lucy and Mike look around as they set out to go hiking during their summer trip to the Silvershore Islands. Tess is smiling and holding onto the wide brimmed sunhat she is wearing.*

*Back in the present, Tess looks pensive as she stands in front of the lockers.*
Tess (thinking): I made a lot of mistakes.. but even after everything, I ended up with good friends..

*Tess remembers her night at the prom with Paulo, an image of him tearfully pressing his forehead to hers.*

*Tess closes her eyes and rapidly shakes her head.*

Tess (thinking): I hope they can move on..
*Tess pulls out a chair at the lunch table.*

Tess (thinking): .. but I don’t want them to forget me..
*Tess sits at the lunch table, which is covered in a white cloth. Daisy, who is sweating and smiling nervously, and Mike look at her. Sue rests her chin on her hand, zoned out. Abbey looks at David, who is smiling and polishing a glass.*
Tess: What’s with the tablecloth?
