Veronica: I like the idea that Paulo’s dad just gets calls from various girls asking for Paulo. He is probably secretly proud of his popular son.

.. but also very concerned for him.

(In terms of hoping Paulo is responsible with his decisions, rather than not respecting women.)

Interesting he says “girl” on the line instead of telling Paulo it’s Jasmine..

It’s funny how Paulo is the most sensible person in this situation… His friend is hurting, and he’s bothered because he doesn’t have all the facts yet.

He also recognizes that he likes Jazz, but he has stronger feelings for Lucy. What to do??? Especially in this mixed up and crazy high school sphere of friends and foes?

I just love his family - he’s a very straight-forward person and deep down knows how to function. And I love the trouble he gets in. Sure, he gets into trouble, has fears, encounters enemies, and messes up, but he’s not letting anything get in the way of moving forward and fixing what he can.

I’m pretty sure that Jasmine has more than noticed that Paulo’s entire self isn’t all that much about her. I already knew they weren’t going to last very long, their “getting together” seemed kinda rushed. So if they break up, eh. Only better and drama-y things to come!

I always thought Jazz and Paulo were cute together…but if he doesn’t have feelings for her then it’s not worth forcing a relationship. I kind of hope for a mutual break up as well if he continues to feel this way about jasmine….and judging by jasmines past behaviors, I have a feeling she might feel the same.

He can’t force himself to love her…but they can still just be really good friends. But who knows…sometimes feelings change.
