Sorry for being pedantic but the dialogue more or less short-circuits my brain. Shouldn't it be: "Sorry, you must have confused me"? Or is it supposed to be a freudian slip?

So maybe it IS sort of a Freudian slip? Slipping into a casual rather than formal and guarded way of speaking with a stranger you apparently have no business with?? o:
xMasu, i was thinking more along the lines (in regard to it being a freudian slip) of "Sorry, you must have me confused" meaning: "I'm in a state of confusion that you got me in" rather than "You have confused me for someone else".
