*Paulo wails in dismay.*
Paulo: I can’t believe we’re already giving speeches in history class!
*Tess smiles sassily.*
Tess: They should classify that as a cruel and unusual punishment!

*Tess notices Mike, face down on the lunch table, sulking. On her other side, Paulo cries.*
Paulo: So much is different in high school..
*David points at Mike.*
David: Not everything!

*Mike sighs and lifts his head. There are dark circles under his eyes. Tess sits beside him, smirking.*
Tess: Trouble in paradise, kid?
Mike: How’d you guess.

Mike: Staying up so late to get assignments done in the FIRST WEEK.. I’m not sure if I’m gonna be able to get through a whole year like this..
*Tess frowns.*
Tess: Aww..

*Tess smiles, cupping her hand beside her mouth as she spots Lucy.*
Tess: Hey, Lucy! Over here!
*Lucy turns around. Mike slumps on the table, falling asleep.*
Mike: z.. z..

*Lucy sits down, speaking to Tess over Mike, a blank expression on her face.*
Lucy: Oh. Hi.

*Tess glances to Lucy, concerned.*
Tess: So, between us, what’s all this about a girlfriend? Is there something going on with you two?
Lucy: What, no!

*Lucy looks annoyed.*
Lucy: He’s in a long-distance relationship, but he doesn’t call her a girlfriend.. but she totally is. She only just gave him a lovey-dovey gift.

*Tess’ eyes widen a little.*
Tess: You’re not the girlfriend?
Lucy: What the hell made you think I was?!
Tess: Ahh.. well..

*Lucy shuts her eyes and shrugs.*
Lucy: Whatever. It’s really not a big deal, so long as I can still talk to him.

*Lucy looks back to Tess, annoyed.*
Lucy: And that’s it. It’s really none of your business, anyway.
*Tess smiles half heartedly.*
Tess: Haha..
*Mike murmurs in his sleep.*
Mike: Mmm..

*Mike begins dreaming. He and Sandy hold hands, spinning around gleefully.*
Mike: Guh.. Girlfriend..

*Sandy opens her arms to Mike, smiling as love hearts surround her.*
Sandy: Maishul~! I love you so much, Maishul ♥

*Mike reaches out for a hug, blushing deeply.*
Mike: Oh, I love you too!

*Mike wakes up to find himself hugging Lucy. Tess looks on, surprised.*
Lucy: ?

*Mike, bleary-eyed, holds a now-blushing Lucy by her arms. Tess covers her mouth, looking fearful.*
Lucy: …
Mike: …

Mike: Sandy?
*Lucy twitches. Tess breaks out into a cold sweat.*

*Mike’s fur stands on end as he finally realizes he’s embracing Lucy, not Sandy. Lucy looks angry. Tess holds her head in her hands. David prances in.*
David: Awk-ward~♪
