*Paulo grins sheepishly.*
Paulo: Uhhhwhuh, Daisy?

*Daisy frowns, glaring at Paulo.*

*Daisy leans forward and shakes her fist at Paulo, yelling.*
Daisy: Don’t do scary things like that, okay?! You’re not being cool!!
*Paulo frowns.*

*Daisy twiddles her fingers and looks off to the side.*
Daisy: You coulda ended up like the bird…

*Daisy looks at the bird, concerned.*
Daisy: .. How is it anyway?
*Paulo, still cradling the bird, checks on it.*
Paulo: Ohh, uhh.. still breathing.

*Paulo and Daisy stand silhouetted against the sky.*
Daisy: What do we do with it?

*Paulo looks frustrated. Daisy looks worried.*
Paulo: Is there a hospital nearby?
Daisy: Not really..

*Daisy perks up suddenly.*
Daisy: What about Lucy?

*Paulo blushes and drools, looking off dreamily. Hearts float near his head.*
Paulo: Lucy…
*Daisy pouts and frowns.*

*Daisy starts walking along the road. Paulo notices something behind her.*
Daisy: Whatever, Lucy’s house is nearby so she’s our best bet! She’s always playing nurs--

Daisy: AHH!!
*Daisy jumps off of the road as a car comes by, honking. She clings to Paulo.*

*Paulo gives a teasing smile.*
Paulo: You shouldn’t scold me when you were standing in the road all this time!
*Daisy shakes nervously, looking to the side.*
Daisy: I’m sorry

Veronica: How funny is it for Paulo to ask if there’s a hospital nearby? I guess it would sound weird for the cat to ask if there’s a vet nearby… but does that mean hospitals help feral birds…

let’s just.. not think about it.
