In all seriousness, I just love it. It's cheesy and predictable, but for some reason it almost seems canonical. Maybe this is a way for Taeshi to justify the way Mike is becoming more and more of a jerk? (And I'm not just ANOTHER stupid MxL shipper; I mean, yeah I like the pairing but that doesn't mean that I think that Mike was an asshole for rejecting Lucy, or being mean to her. What I think is that he was an asshole for actually overdoing it: he's pushing who used to be his best friend to her limits, and yet he doesn't give a crap. C'mon, you were better than that, Maishul.)

If only... Sandy wouldn't do that. I don't have anything against her. It's just that they need to move on. She's a good gal, and she needs a friend.

But a phone-boyfriend that she hasn't spoken to face to face in, what, five, six years? She doesn't need that. She needs to find the right person where she's at.

All I'm saying is that if Lucy cries on the very last panel of this webcomic, I will go into a berserker dimension-hopping time-warping frenzy to undo it. I swear. I'll go hot-wire me a certain crazy scientist's Delorean and go get zapped and become Dr. Manhattan's little brother.
