I do hope there is no “just missed each other” business to come because I am SERIOUSLY curious as to how they will interact. I am kinda hoping that it turns out to be this tear jerking reunion and then at a loss of how to talk to each other. I am looking forward to the next page, an insight on what Sandy is made of will be nice and seeing Mike happy and not cranky every few panels will be refreshing . I have missed it.
I hope Mike has a moment of insight as well somewhere, I want him to be less of a jerk after this. I hope Sandy will help with that and that somehow Lucy will benefit. ♥

Let’s just hope Mike doesn’t get lost on his way to backstage. Seriously though, are we seeing mike’s interpretation of the show or is it just an directional liberty (not sure if that’s the proper term) taken by Taeshi? Why do i ask, because i find it interesting that everything (specifically voices) are like a white noise to him. He’s zoned out as it seems and that kind of tunnel vision could have adverse effects..

I’m really suprised how narrowly focused this chapter seems. Normally the chapters seem to broaden out to include more dialogue, but the way it is being built up is fabulous. Mike’s fear and desire to see really come through because of the way the speech and characters are ignored by him (except for Sandy of course). This chapter is great so far (even though not a lot has happened yet) and the art is AMAZING! Keep it coming Taeshi!!!
Edit: To address the concerns of several readers’, Sandy is unable to make contact with Mike because she is WORKING. Anything out of the ordinary she did on stage could get her in trouble. However it does come off as inconsiderate in this particular instance because we can see how much she is making Mike squirm by not aknowledging him.
