Ooof, all I’m picturing is the dream where she had to hear all of her friends saying awful things about her: Sue saying that at least she didn’t ruin their project, Daisy calling Lucy awful and claiming others only like her for her looks, Paulo agreeing and implying that that’s all he sees in her, and then Mike walking away… If anyone remembers, it was one of the extended pages, and it was just Lucy looking up at the stars through the brick walls as her friends leaned over her.

I think Vero cut it like this on purpose.

I think that’s actually Mike, but he’s appearing to Lucy as Alejandro.

Because Mike has been treating Lucy and her feelings badly.

She most likely feels played with and tossed aside and is still hurting from the most recent heart break of his.

It makes sense he’d show up in her nightmare as a horrible Alejandro version of himself.

As for the others, she’s just tired of having to fix their “drama” all the time.

hmm. there’s a lot of interesting possible implications from Mike not being here. and on some level it would make sense? the only time he’s been seen in one of these nightmares is Escape Route, which was a flashback to when Mike was ignoring her, so recent events were mixing in. every other nightmare we’ve seen is after Eternal Flame, which made it clear everything between them is so much more complicated.

whether the dream is going to compartmentalise Mike stuff elsewhere or he just doesn’t show up, the trauma stemming from Confrontation and the trauma stemming from Mike’s actions are very different things and her mind isn’t necessarily conflating the two

Sue being there makes me think Lucy… REALLY still isn’t over being pressured into Sue’s play. And honestly, I can’t blame her. That was an extremely rough experience for her, being forced together with someone who wanted nothing to do with her, only to have Sue so proud of herself for trying to play matchmaker at the time… I know Sue’s since shown remorse, but this really illustrates how badly that decision hurt Lucy in the end.

I think we dont see mike in this one because he walked away in the last one? Or maybe she’s good on that and these are the ones still haunting her since these folks actively engage with her and that one POS hasn’t been dealt with
