*Tess and Mike talk as clouds go by in the blue sky. Tess looks away, gesturing. Mike watches her, frowning.*
Tess: Look, all I’m sayin’ is..

*Tess scowls and grabs Mike by the head and shoulder, shaking him hard enough to make his scarf flap.*
Tess: BE SELFISH!! IDIOT!!
*Mike grimaces, dizzy.*

*Mike steps away from Tess and frowns at her, rubbing his head.*

*Mike closes his eyes, defeated.*
Mike: (sigh)

*Mike gazes at Tess over his shoulder.*
Mike: I’ll ask my mom.

*Lucy and Lily stand nearby, watching Tess smile so happily she seems to sparkle. Lily smiles sweetly. Lucy stares at Tess with a blank look on her face.*

*Tess turns around and stares pointedly at Lucy, zeroing in on her. Lucy frowns in dismay and flinches. Lily side-eyes Lucy.*

*Lucy scowls at Tess. Her ears are down.*
Lucy: I.. .. guess you really CAN’T get over me.

*Lucy turns away from Tess, shrugging with forced indifference.*
Lucy: Soooo I might as well go so you don’t kill yourself. It’s your money anyway.
*Tess stares at Lucy with her mouth agape, eyes wide open in surprise.*
Tess: Really? Um, great.

*Lucy looks away for a moment, uncertain.*

*Lily smiles up at Lucy kindly.*
