[Two long dark horizontal panels indicate the passage of time.]

*Mike and Lucy lie tied up in the trunk. Mike is resting, eyes closed, on his side. Lucy rests while partially on top of him, her eyes shut and chin rested on the ropes around his arms.*

*Mike and Lucy start to wake up as the trunk opens and light falls on them.*

*Mike and Lucy peer blearily up at the open trunk.*

*Tess leans over the trunk, smiling cheerily.*
Tess: Sorry ’bout that! Let me get you guys--

*Lucy’s foot shoots out of the trunk and hits Tess in the face. Blood flies from Tess’ nose and she falls backward.*

*Lucy and Mike sit in the open trunk and glare at Tess. Tess sprawls on the ground with her legs in the air, twitching.*
Lucy: Explain yourself.

[Caption: Later]
*Mike and Lucy are still tied up. They sit side by side outside against a beautiful blue sky.*
Tess: Okay, I KNOW it seems like a bit much..

*Lucy, Mike and Tess sit on the grass in a field. Lucy and Mike are still tied up. Tess sits cross-legged in front of them, arms folded over her chest.*
Tess: But knowing you two, it was the only way to get ya talkin’.

*Tess frowns at Lucy and Mike.*
Tess: Now…

*Tess looks curiously at Mike and Lucy.*
Tess: Why dontcha wanna come?

*Mike’s eyes go wide in irritation.*

*Lucy’s eyes go wide in fury.*

*Mike and Lucy rock forward simultaneously and shout at Tess.*
Lucy and Mike: YOU KIDNAPPED US FOR THAT?!?!

*Tess closes her eyes, sweating a little.*
Tess: sigh

Veronica: If the last page wasn’t MikexLucy enough..

So snug and cozy! I guess all the rustling would have tired them out sooner or later, but now they have burning fury all over again! Thanks, sunlight!
