Y'know, even though Lucy is refusing to talk to her family about what's up with Mike, they're saying everything she's afraid of. And the sad irony is, she still refused to talk to them about it until "too late" almost happened. I'm really happy Lucy is doing better after all this!

The unintentional cruelty of this whole conversation is sooo painful. Tbh I feel so sorry for Lucy's mom too, because I know thinking back on this must have killed her when she learned what was really going on.
