(This is a joke, a lot of readers genuinely thought something bad happened with Sue. Sue just had other things to do and couldn’t join!!!!! Sometimes plans clash!

Tess’ original dialogue made it a little more ambiguous, to be fair, so it was edited to be clearer.)

Guessing Sue was busy or didn’t want to share the close proximity of the boot with David.
