Put pressure on the wound before she loses too much blood Mike, you can save her. Get a bystander to call 911, and make sure she keeps breathing. Artificially ventilate / perform CPR as needed. When she gets to the hospital, if you keep circulation going, they will stitch the wound and put her on whole blood. With luck she will recover.
