This is proof of the sandpile theory which states that every thing in the universe however small will in some way affect (effect?) every other object. See, if either mike or Lucy had scored one more point in any of those games in the last chapter they would not have had
the race inwhich Michel broke his leg so Lucy would not have picked up his mail and there by never learned mike was still in contact with sandy and therefore no insicurites

If you didn’t think this couldn’t get any more emo.. then again, I’m sure you guys probably wouldn’t have known about the upcoming emo until it got to that point, but totally expect it. Fur shuuuureeee.
Lucy’s eyes on the first panel bug me.. but I notice that whenever I start off a comic, I always make the characters talking with semi-serious faces.. as in default and more.. “proportionate,” rather than silly and exaggerated. Hope that makes sense!
I am terribly sorry about the quality of the page. Drawing-wise, I’m happy with it, but it looks very smudgy. At the time, I didn’t know how to get rid of the smudges (I’d rescan and get the same) and it was only after a while that I found out how to make the pages look cleaner. Isn’t it silly that I just need to put a blank page behind the comic? Then it scans all cleanly? The majority of the smudges are because it’s pressed against the comic page behind it.
Anyway, TIME FOR THE DRAMA TO BEGIN. Mike’s expression on the seventeenth panel is win. I seem to like many expressions that take place in that panel. Ahah.
