*Mike looks up at Sandy, ashamed.*
Mike: I’m sorry!! I didn’t mean to get right up close! It’s just that..

*Sandy smiles pleasantly.*
Sandy: You like fish, Maishul?
Mike: Umm..

*Mike holds a finger to his mouth, blushing.*
Mike: Y-yeah. It’s my favorite food..

*Sandy holds out her forkful of fish.*
Sandy: Have all of mine, then!
*Mike sits up straight, surprised.*
Mike: Urp!

Sandy: I never finish my food anyway! Here!
*Mike gives the fish an uncertain look.*
Mike: Um..

*Mike quickly eats the fish right off of Sandy’s fork.*

Sandy: So? How do you like it?
*Mike blushes as he chews the fish with a stunned expression.*

*He floats in pure bliss.*
Mike: I’m in heeaaven~

*Sandy shyly rubs the back of her neck.*
Sandy: It’s good! Our cook made it.. and it was kept all nice and warm in.. what is it? A thermal lunch box?
Mike: Huh? How?

*Sandy takes a bite of her lunch.*
Sandy: My mommy and daddy got it for me!
*Mike beams.*
Mike: You’re amazing!

*Sandy closes her eyes.*
Sandy: I am not..
*Mike waves his arms frantically.*
Mike: Yer saying that while eating LOBSTER TAIL! Of course you are!

*Sandy gives Mike a sad look.*
Sandy: But that’s just Mommy an’ Daddy.. I don’t think I’ve done much by myself, really.

Sandy: But you’re amazing, Maishul.. you’re always the smartest boy in the class..
*Mike blushes slightly.*

*Sandy recalls grades being handed out.*
Sandy (narrating): I’m never good at school stuff! I wish I could get the kind of grades you do..
*Mike holds up schoolwork with an A+ marked on it. Sandy’s schoolwork has a D-.*

*Mike smiles, flattered.*
Mike: Aww, I’m not so special! You could do it too, you know!
*Sandy looks shy.*
Sandy: Aww, I don’t think so..

*Mike holds up a determined fist.*
Mike: You can! I’ll help you with your homework! Next thing you hand in will get an A, okay?

*Sandy clutches her hands together and gives Mike a hopeful look.*
Sandy: You could do that?
Mike: Yeah, I help Lucy all the time.. it’s really no problem!

*Sandy holds Mike’s hand.*
Sandy: Oh, you’re so nice! Tell me how I could make it up to you!
*Mike closes his eyes and drools.*
Mike: More salmon would be nice..

Author commentary

Veronica: Chomping-down-on-fish-Maishul delights me, he turned out so cute with his little cheeks sticking out ;__; Baby boy.

Mike is a real sweetheart, implying with wide eyes that Sandy’s wealth makes her amazing. What a true peon. Meanwhile Sandy envies Mike’s actual skills!

To be fair, though, Mike only inititally got super attracted to you because of your skill at being pretty, Sandy!
