Well, he’s a good guy, but I think they’re a bad pairing. Mostly because she comes across as the sort of person who has standards, and he’s the sort of person who loses his virginity in a public bathroom (fun fact, just under 20% of people in north america have chronic genital herpes. I wonder how much that goes up for people who have sex with acquaintances in public places)

Good way to break them up though, story wise. I was under the impression (from the earlier commentary) that they’d never end up together anyway, and I’m glad to see it done without him ruining her. Looking forward to seeing her ruined when the alley cat from chapter 12 gets his nonspecific revenge. (I’m guessing it’s going to be relevant sometime this or next year, considering that whole arc was redone in febuary)

@Megaron yeah, he’s the sort of person to get drunk while underage, and lose his virginity in an out of order public bathroom, has no drivers license or money, and is generally does not meet any sort of standard that a person might have. And as far as aroused quickly goes, he’s already (heroically) demonstrated his ability to keep control of himself when it wasn’t a favourable situation (which means that he considered a club bathroom to be favourable)

I do enjoy the dichotomy though, that despite his thoughtless behavior, he deep down really is a good guy. Just a skeezy good guy. Some people might consider that to be inconsistent, but people in real life are complicated and contradictory, and so are well written fictional characters (in my opinion.)

I’m just happy that this comic actually updates on time. Its really as much as you can expect. More than I expect of many webcomics, sadly - she actually has a buffer! A buffer! How awesome is that?

Being honest, I confess that if I were drunk, and male, and hormonal, and perverted, and a cat, and if my partner were a cat cheerleader who was attractive (I think she’s supposed to be outright hot as far as the story is concerned) then I would probably succumb to the same temptations paulo did. (unless I had major hangups about dalliances in public washrooms, which is totally plausible as well)

I’m not very tech savy, so I’m gonna assume that a buffer is extremely badass for posting things. Ha ha.

Nah, I’m not complaining. I’m just saying this from experience because I read a bunch of webcomics I actually think it’s a good thing because it keeps you on the edge of your seat, just thinking of what’ll happen next and stuff like that. It doesn’t hurt that she updates 3 times a week either as most of the webcomics I read update bi-weekly.

And I agree that the story is THAT good, enough to say this is one of the best I’ve ever read storywise

And that’s what makes it well worth the wait… minus the anxiety a new reader feels for not being able to read all of it at once. Ha ha (me).

You know I’m not entirely sure we’re supposed to be all shame at Paulo. I mean you have to remember that Lucy is kind of crazy at the moment and loves latching onto people. And Paulo being a playa maybe knows that you don’t stick your dick in crazy. And seeing how Lucy is with latching onto people and past chapters we can kind of tell Lucy is crazy and finding someone new to latch onto. Maybe Paulo realized this and figured he doesn’t want to be that person. He also probably realized that would also hurt his chances of get in bed with as many girls as possible and after missing out on Daisy and Tess doesn’t want to let anymore chances slip through his fingers.

That’s all I have to say. I’ve been picky with what webcomics I read, but this so far, story-line wise, is one of the best.
Normally, I hate this drama crap that exists in high school (which I’m glad I never got involved in), but when presented as fiction, it’s irresistible. I’ve only read the whole archive from 2 days ago, but I feel like as if I’ve known these characters for years; they’re that well written.
And I don’t even comment on anything! Keep up the awesome work. I only wish I had a time machine to find out what the ending is to this epic saga.
