Oh the idiotic webs “impressionable fifteen-year-olds” weave!
It’s not like we can truly blame Paulo, though. He’s not intentionally trying to hurt Tess or Lucy and it seems doubtful he could even think of things turning out like that. He’s just a shortsighted little bugger!
He’s a sweetheart at… well, heart and he did just display impressive restraint, did he not?
He’s also thinking with the wrong head in this situation, but that’s just him, isn’t it?
I await ravenously for the next comic!

I think he’s given up on pursuing Tess. She put her foot down on it and he’s tired of it. Lucy he’s still hanging onto because he knows damn well how hard emotional shit is for her in the first place.
And at the same time, he’s trying REALLY hard to be a manly man and get with all the ladies. I think he’s got his definitions of manhood confused. Unless you’re the goddamn Batman, you can’t be the guy who gets the girl AND the guy who gets the girls.
Read that last line closer if it didn’t make sense. I’ll wait…….there ya go.
