ohhhh yeah i can definitely see that! both situations seem to be polarizing at a glance but are very complex, with neither side being “right” exactly. definitely parallels. good observation!! it’s interesting to see the vast differences between the two situations, too. because with the mike / lucy situation, mike NEVER made it clear that lucy was going too far - not until he really blew up at her. with abbey, he’s always been clear on how much he hates paulo. it’s interesting that both “guilty” parties continued to antagonize the “innocent” parties, not understanding the level of irritation and hurt they were causing. lov that grey morality in bcb, it’s very good
