*The group run around the river in search of Mike.*
Daisy: Mikie! Where are you!!
Sue: Miiike!! Mike!!

*Sue and Daisy walk together, looking around. Sue looks worried. Daisy looks terrified and tearful.*
Daisy: He should be coming out here!
Sue: Did he get stuck?!
*David crawls near the edge of the river, sniffing.*

Sue: I don’t see him anywhere..
*Lucy runs over. Daisy looks up with tears in her eyes.*
Daisy: Lucy?

*Lucy is crying as she scans the river. Looking from side to side, Yashy notices something.*
Yashy: ?

*Yashy points at the river anxiously.*
Yashy: There! There!
*Lucy looks.*

*Mike is floating in the middle of the river, just past the rocks.*

*Lucy looks frightened.*
Lucy (thinking): No..

*Mike is covered in bruises, laying face down in the water.*
Lucy (thinking): He really knocked his head..

*Lucy watches, anxious and fearful.*
Lucy (thinking): Someone needs to grab him.. But I can’t swim..

Lucy (thinking): He’s face down.. he can’t breathe!

*Lucy closes her eyes, shaking her head.*
Lucy (thinking): But I can’t swim!!

*Lucy recalls an image of Mike smiling at her.*
Lucy (thinking): I coulda done something.. but now.. I can’t let him die!

*Lucy covers her face, completely distressed.*
Lucy (thinking): BUT I DON’T KNOW HOW TO SWIM!!

*Sue points to Mike.*
Sue: I SEE HIM THERE!! SOMEONE HELP!!
*Daisy starts running in the other direction.*
Daisy: I’ll get an adult!!

*Lucy looks hopeless as tears stream down her face.*
Lucy (thinking): It’ll be too late.. we need to do something now.. But.. I can’t.. I can’t..

*Lucy picks her head up and puts on a determined face, though she still has tears in her eyes.*
Lucy (thinking): IT DOESN’T MATTER!! I NEED TO TRY!!

*Lucy nervously dives into the water with a splash.*
