You have to give characters flaws to let them develop and grow.
Taeshi doesn’t want people to hate her characters,
They’re just well rounded and have good points and flaws like real people.
Paulo is a chauvinist with a huge ego and a homophobe,
But let’s give him a chance to grow up.
Characters aren’t 100% pure angels or evil.

My instant reaction was to say aloud, “-small gasp- Paulo! What-?”
I guess maybe it shouldn’t shock me, but it did none-the-less, considering how well Paulo and Matt were getting along as it was. It’s sad to see him lashing out like that.
Rachel, put him in his place, quickly please.
