Veronica: One thing that I find fun about making new characters is that a lot of the time I have the super basic personality down, but then I start making up stuff in my head? Like “oh, wouldn’t this be interesting”

Like when I introduced Matt, he was just “Rachel’s friend” and was meant to be an excitable gentle giant.. but then I was like.. what if I made him gay.

Which then leaned into.. what if he has feelings for Jordan. And the ideas just kept pouring out. In some ways I am discovering new things about some new characters at the same time as Mike.

Anyway I developed a background in my head about Felix and James so that’ll be a fun thing to tackle in the future!
