Wow man. I didn’t notice it on Wednesday, but Lucy is a lot warmer with Augie now than her old friends. It makes you wonder what she thought about while she was away. I mean, she had to get over losing Mike, but he also told her he was going to take everyone else away too. Maybe she forced herself to give them up in her mind, or at least learn not to need them, so it wouldn’t hurt if she came back and they weren’t there for her anymore. She didn’t expect Augustus to still be here when she returned either, so having him around all the time must be making it easier to walk away from the clique.
