I’ve been reading Bittersweet Candy Bowl for months. I still don’t really understand what’s going on with the story, but Lucy’s facial expressions here are cute.

1. Oh, Lu. Why does this sound like your way of making sure your friends are taken care of before you give them up to Mike forever?
2. Oh, Paulo. You’ve got a lot to admit to if you ever want to keep Lucy’s trust. Tell her the OTHER reason Daisy and Abbey broke up. Tell her about Matt. Tell her about RACHEL. You’ll regret it if you don’t.
3. …Is this a school night? They’re out pretty late on a school night.

I think Lucy didn’t mean for this date to be a long term thing, just a way to hang out with Paulo one last time, and learn what’s happened while she was gone. Feel like this ship just got sunk again

Love the comic, would appreciate if everyone didn’t feel the need to add their political bias on to everything though, especially when the entertainment at hand isn’t political in nature.
I’m referring to the fact you asked young people to vote (which is good) and then posted a link that tells people how to vote for anyone other than a specific party (Tories), your bias was not needed, you do not know everything, you are not inherently right or correct, ask people to vote by all means and then leave them to their own decisions.

She can’t choose who she’s attracted to, man, also at one point in the future Daisy will probly get over Mike, but dating the wrong guy and being forced to sever connection with your bestfriend are good reasons to leave that toxic relationship. Both of them had insecurities to cover up with their relationship, and this break up is one step to growing up.
