*Abbey, Augustus and Daisy are dark silhouettes against the background of trees. Abbey hunches over, looking at Augustus.*
Abbey: … what..
*Abbey looks aghast.*
Abbey: What do you know about him?!
*Augustus gazes up maliciously at Abbey.*
Augustus: Oh, I’ve done my research. Suppose it’s old news to most people..
*Augustus smiles smugly, gesturing with one hand.*
Augustus: But maybe it’s a little more relevant than I thought? You’re doing such a good job walking in his shoes tonight.
*Abbey clenches a fist, trembling.*
*Abbey seizes Augustus, grabbing his shirt with both hands and yanking him up close. Augustus looks shocked.*
Abbey: SHUT UP!! I am NOT like my father!!
Abbey: Don’t you EVER say that again!!
*Daisy, terrified, rushes forward to stop him. She reaches out toward Abbey. Her bear dangles from the other hand.*
Daisy: ABBEY!! Abbey, please!!
*Abbey keeps a hold of Augustus’ jacket. He glares furiously as Daisy stares pleadingly at him.*
Daisy: Let him go!
*Augustus smirks cruelly.*
Augustus: Not like him?? Isn’t this the exact grip he held your dearest mother in, on oh-so-many nights?
*Augustus grins, panting a little as Abbey tightens his grip.*
Augustus: Seems like a simple observation to me. Like father, like son, don’t they say?
*Abbey snarls, baring his teeth in rage. He pulls back his fist to punch Augustus.*
Abbey: SHUT UP!!
*Daisy screams in distress, ears down and eyes clenched shut.*
Daisy: STOP IT!!
Augustus: Oh, that’s right! Do it! Hit me! Just like Daddy!
*Abbey freezes, staring vacantly. He is sweating profusely.*
*Augustus laughs as he speaks.*
Augustus: Go on, put me in my place! It’d be so easy! Walk away with a neat little story about your good intentions..
Augustus: When you KNOW you’re NO BETTER AT ALL!!
*Abbey pulls back his fist.*
*Abbey stops, a horrified, grief-stricken look on his face.*
*Abbey grimaces, keeping his hold on Augustus, who smirks knowingly. Daisy watches the two, frightened. She reaches for him.*
*Abbey glances towards Daisy. He starts trembling, tears in his eyes.*
*Abbey looks away, trembling and covering his face with his hand as he begins to sob.*
*Abbey finally lets go of Augustus and pulls his hand away.*

Well that doesn’t excuse him from being one mean son-of-a-bitch!

And now Augustus is my new favorite character.
Problem?

Augustus’ reaction to Abbey was actually very good. Non-voilent methods, right? He may be a better person than you think. He tried to make his crush her true self, or at least what he thinks it is, and defended himself without landing a single blow.
